Short-Term/Long-Term Disability:

If you elect the State Retirement Plan (SERS), the disability portion on that plan will not cover you until you are vested after ten years. The short-term/long-term disability plan administered by College Benefits Group is offered with options to pay benefits after 30, 60, or 120 days of disability.
