CBG VOLUNTARY BENEFITS ENROLLMENT

Dear UConn Employee:

You will need to consider open enrollment, eligibility, and your benefits' needs when you enroll in the group voluntary benefits programs for employees of UConn.

Enrolling during open enrollment will be crucial, because during open enrollment you will not be required to supply the insurance companies with medical evidence of insurability.

If you elect not to enroll during open enrollment, but decide later that you would like to enroll in group voluntary benefits programs, you will be required to supply the insurance companies with medical evidence of insurability.

Underwriting after the open enrollment period is strict and there is a high possibility of being declined. There are no open enrollment periods after your first opportunity to enroll during your open enrollment period.

Comprehensive group voluntary benefits information, and open enrollment periods, can be obtained by examining the material on this website under short-term disability, long-term disability, and group universal life insurance.

Attached to each webpage detailing your group voluntary benefits programs are the enrollment forms you will need to complete, and how to submit the forms to us at College Benefits Group.

Thank you for participating,
